What Is A Web Hosting Account?  Why Do I Need One?

• A web hosting account provides you with a certain amount of web space on a specialized computer known as a web server.  A web server has specialized software that allows you to upload and download web site files to and from your computer, to your site.  It also allows you to have custom email accounts ( Ex. yourname@yourdomain.com ).  Our site builder software allows you to build your web site quickly and easily.  It then stores the site you make onto the web hosting account.  It is then visible on the internet.

• Yes. Site Builder keeps your current pages and files, plus a copy of the most previous version of each page.  To restore a page to a previous version, you simply click a button.

I'm Not Good With Web Design. How Do I Make My Site Look Professional?

• We provide you with over 140 pre-designed web site templates that have already been created by a professional web designer.  You simply choose which design to use and click it.  Every page of your site will then look like the template, but of course, you can type your own content such as company name, telephone numbers, promotional text, pictures, etc.

Can I Insert My Own Photos and Graphics?

• Yes.  Each page you create will have "editable regions" where you can insert your own text, graphics and/or photos.

I've Been Using The Same Template For Months.  I Want To Change The Template.  Will This Mess Up My Site?

• Not at all.  Changing a template can be done at anytime and it is easy.  You simply browse to the new template from the list, click on it and click the OK button.  After about a minute, your site will be reset to show the new template.  Your custom text, company name, telephone number, etc. will remain the same.

Can I Customize The Template I Am Using?

• Yes.  You can download the template from your site and customize it however you wish.

I Want To Add Email Forms To My Site.  Can Site Builder Do This?

• Yes.  We have pre-designed forms that you can drop right into your web page anywhere you wish. If you are an advanced web master, you can create your own forms and drop the html code directly into your web site.

Can I Use Another Web Site Design Program On My PC, and Also Use Site Builder When I'm Away From My Computer?

• Technically this is possible, though it requires a higher level of skill.  We recommend using Site Builder by itself and not using any other web design programs on the same web site as your Site Builder site.

I Need The Ability To Edit The Source Code Of Some Pages.  Will Site Builder Let Me Do This?

• Yes.  There is a very nice source code viewer and editor and an HTML/Code insertion tool that allows you to use custom code in your web site.
